If you are looking for a non-intrusive one-to-one therapy then private hypnotherapy sessions could be the change you are looking for.

The mind is an amazing part of us where everything we have ever experienced or felt is stored. However, the ‘conscious mind’ is only able to store a relatively small amount of information at any one time, so most of our experiences, whether good or bad, are stored in the ‘unconscious mind’.

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state where our mind becomes so focused on one thing that we are able to ignore anything else.

With the help of a skilled hypnotherapist, the unconscious can be accessed and unwanted memories or bad experiences stored in the ‘unconscious’ can be adjusted or replaced with new positive suggestions.

Hypnotherapy is an effective natural complementary therapy, enabling your own mind to bring about the required changes safely and often quickly.

Hypnotherapy has been successfully used alongside conventional medicines and throughout history for the treatment of a wide range of medical, emotional, psychological and stress-related symptoms.

Hypnosis can help with:

  • stopping smoking
  • weight loss
  • anxiety reduction
  • stress management
  • pain control
  • increased athletic performance
  • allergy relief
  • depression
  • phobias/fears
  • creative blockages
  • blood pressure

Hypnosis can help bypass the conscious critical thinking mind and change the unconscious mind habits its created for you over time. It does this by putting you into a state of relaxation that quiets the conscious mind in order to bypass its critical thinking role.

Hypnosis is not magic. There’s no fairy dust in the hypnotherapists toolbox. Hypnosis will not succeed if a client is looking for a silver bullet and for the hypnotist to, metaphorically speaking, do the work for them. Synopsis is a process between the therapist and the client working in tandem.

Kac Young received a manga cum laude doctorate in hypnotherapy in 1995 and offers private sessions to help you change your life for the better and put you in the driver’s seat of your thoughts and emotions.

Neuroscience is only at the beginning of understanding the mind and what it can do.  Hypnosis provides us an excellent tool to impact our thoughts and our feelings and thereby modify our behaviors and outcomes.

Hypnosis allows us to focus on our thoughts and replace negative thoughts and habits with positive ones. It does this by relaxing the conscious mind to allow a hypnotist to talk directly to the unconscious mind. Hypnosis is a natural state of consciousness and is perfectly safe in the hands of the right hypnotherapist.

Pamela Ventura has used hypnotherapy as a means to improve her trapeze and aerial flying techniques.

In her own words:

I’m a trapezeaholic. Years ago I vacationed at a Club Med Resort featuring a trapeze rig where adventurous guests are taught how to ‘fly’. I thought it would be a good way to conquer my fear of heights and it has now become my passion and a bi-weekly obsession.

Twenty-some years later, I encountered what many athletes face – the dreaded plateau! Stuck in self-doubt and bad habits, I called on my friend Kac to help me enhance my performance, stop the negative voices in my head and deepen my skills to bring back the old me.

Kac is a Doctor of Clinical Hypnotherapy and she helps people change their minds and their actions to overcome fears, eliminate phobias, stop unwanted behaviors, quit smoking, lose weight and a myriad of other conditions they want to overcome. I’ve known her for two decades and I knew she would know how to help me.

She created a 30-minute CD to enhance my trapeze performance and dissolve any unconscious blocks that may have been lurking in my subconscious mind preventing me from my best performance.  it worked. The CD is fabulous! I listened to it and I flew so much better the next day.  I love it, love it, love it!  Kac, I adore you. You did a beautiful job and it really works!

IMPORTANT NOTE: In some instances, where anxiety, PTSD and/or depression have become so overwhelming that they’re significantly impairing a person’s ability to function, medication can serve as useful (and often necessary) when combined with therapy to assist through such difficult periods. Sometimes, hypnosis alone is not enough and a subject should be referred to a medical professional for immediate attention.

Contact us to book a session if you want to lose weight, stop smoking, reduce anxiety, control stress, control pain, improve athletic performance, change negative behavior and improve your life, health and well-being.
